Top Ten Tuesday: Characters I Would Want With Me On A Deserted Island

July 22, 2014 by Diana 7 Comments

toptentuesday
This week’s  Top Ten Tuesday is Top Ten Characters I Would Want With Me On A Deserted Island (pick based on however you want…skills they would bring, their company… or pure hotness factor). So, my first thought was based on pure hotness factor, but Sandie was more practical, she wanted people with survival skills. Sigh, that’s right, you can’t survive on a deserted island on looks alone. So with all of that in mind, here are my top ten characters who we would want with us on a deserted island:

1. Levi from “Fangirl”: So at first you might think this is based purely on hotness factor, but in reality, a guy with farming/ranching skill might come in handy on a deserted island. Maybe he would have ideas on how to catch food, grow food, and he would come in handy if there were any wild animals to catch. Then when you factor in how sweet he is, well… it would make being on a deserted island a lot more pleasant.

2. Gale from “The Hunger Games”: Gale is a great pick because he’s hot AND he has incredible survival skills and instincts. He’s not afraid of anything and he’s an incredible hunter. I would not be afraid if I had Gale by my side. I know that we would survive no matter how long we have to be on this island.

3. and 4. Wolf and Thorne from “The Lunar Chronicles”: I couldn’t make up my mind about which one of them I would want with me on a deserted island, so I decided that I would want both of them. Wolf is strong and powerful, therefore, he could defeat any natives or animals found on the island. Thorne is resourceful, and let’s face it,he’s adorable and so funny. Who says you can’t be entertained while stuck on a deserted island?

5. 6. 7. Harry, Hermione, and Ron from, oh you know where they’re from: I would want all three of them on my deserted island. With their powerful magic we would be comfortable and equally well protected from any supernatural forces that there might be on the island. Besides, maybe they could teach this Muggle some magic.

9. 10. 11. Aragorn, Frodo and Legolas from “The Lord of the Rings”: These three round up my top ten. They each possess skills that together make it certain that we would survive on a deserted island. What is that to them after dealing with the many dangers of Middle Earth. Aragorn is a man who knows how to fight. He also possesses the knowledge of the magical elves. Frodo’s strength is greater than what meets the eye. Finally Legolas is a skilled warrior elf who is also beautiful to look at (hotness factor, remember?) –Diana

So that’s my list. What characters would you pick? Share them with us.

As always, thanks to The Broke and the Bookish  for hosting the meme.

Daphne, they are both equally amazing and I would be more than happy with them as well. Can you just imagine? 🙂

Great list. I definitely wouldn’t mind hanging out with the Hogwarts 3, if they’d let me in. 🙂

I’m wondering why wouldn’t they let you in? After all, you’d be on that island with them.I like to imagine that we’d all be friends.

Diana is funny — even if she doesn’t think she is 😉 She had a lot of fun putting this together, so I for once didn’t need to add anything to get to 10!
