Monday Quotes from Insurgent

March 16, 2015 by Sandie 3 Comments

Insurgent
Since INSURGENT comes out this Friday (woot, more Theo James!), we are dedicating today to INSURGENT quotes. We tried not to pick ones we’ve picked before, even though we know not all of these will make the movie (especially the lines that aren’t dialogue). Are you going to see the adaptation this weekend?

Watch this clip:

It reminds me why I chose Dauntless in the first place: not because they are perfect, but because they are alive. Because they are free.

———–

“I’m not important. Everyone will do just fine without me,” I say.
“Who cares about everyone? What about me?”

———–

“We’re all right, you know,” he says quietly.”You and me. Okay?” My chest aches, and I nod. “Nothing else is all right.” His whisper tickles my cheek. “But we are.”

———–

I could never hurt him enough to make his betrayal stop hurting. And it hurts, in every part of my body.

———–

Grief is not as heavy as guilt, but it takes more away from you.

Watch the movie trailer and get showtimes & tickets.

Haha, who knows if any of those lines will make it. (Nice choices, though!) Seems like they’re taking the story further away from the books… Which isn’t a big deal to us, but we’re very curious to see how the masses react.

I’m curious to see how they adapt Insurgent since I feel like nothing happened plot wise. It was a lot of back and forth between factions and so I’m curious how it’s going to be handled. I’m so excited though to see Naomi Watts as Evelyn though.

I’m curious to see what you think! I just saw it tonight.
