We’re new to the concept of Book Outlet, but after browsing through it, we’re hooked. You can cave up to 90% at Book Outlet! It’s perfect for securing books at a deep discount, but because it doesn’t have as deep an inventory as other booksellers, we’ve done some of the legwork for you and picked ten titles currently on sale. Full disclosure: these are affiliate links, but we’ve scoured through 40 pages-worth of books to pick ones we personally recommend, and we promise never to link to a book at The Book Outlet unless we know and love it. Now on with the deals!
Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell: $5.99 for Hardcover. You know we love this book about two misfits who fall in love on the school bus in 1986, and everyone should have a copy of it in their home library!
Antigoddess (Goddess War, Bk. 1) by Kendare Blake: $4.99 for Hardcover. After hearing her speak at the National Book Festival, I knew I had to read this spin on the Greek gods.
Before I Die by Jenny Downham: $2.99 for Paperback. I wish more people would read this book. It came out pre-Fault in Our Stars, and is just as good, in my opinion. It was even turned into a passably decent movie starring Dakota Fanning (“Now Is Good”).
The Forest Of Hands And Teeth by Carrie Ryan: $2.99 for Paperback. This was one my first reads when I started my YA binge five years ago. It’s such a gripping book, and who doesn’t love a zombie apocalypse story?
Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley: $4.99 for Hardcover. We featured GRAFFITI MOON early on here on TLR. It’s one of those all-in-one-night love stories that stays with you: she’s a glass blower, he’s a graffiti artist.
Meant to Be by Lauren Morrill: $3.99 for Library Binding. Diana & I met Lauren at our first YALLFest, and she was adorable. Now she’s a mom with three books under her belt, but we’ve been fans since her debut.
Out of the Easy by Ruta Sepetys: $3.99 for the Hardcover. Ruta Sepetys is one of the very best authors of historical YA, and this book is adult book club “worthy.” It’s about a brilliant young woman raised in a New Orleans brothel.
The Running Dream by Wendy Van Draanen: $2.99 for Paperback. Thinking about this book makes me want to lace up my sneakers. It’s about a young runner who loses her leg and her identity until she adjusts to her prosthesis.
This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales: $5.99 for Hardcover. Sales’ novel is being turned into a musical, and I can see the appeal. It’s all about a teen whose life family life feels broken except for her love of music and DJing.
The Tragedy Paper by Elizabeth LaBan. $4.99 for Hardcover. We read this book for a blog tour and loved it. This is a layered coming-of-age tale about an albino teen sent to his stepfather’s prestigious boarding school.
