This week’s Top Ten Tuesday is top graphic novels/comics we want to read, so I picked the following, which are either already in my house (hooray for ARCs and my teen’s comics’ subscriptions) or will hopefully be sent to me or at the library soon: FAITH by Jody Houser; PAPER GIRLS by Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang; BLACK PANTHER by Ta-Nehesi Coates and Brian Stelfreeze; DEMON by Jason Shiga; MARCH: BOOK THREE by John Lewis, Andrew Aydin and Nate Powell (if I only read one this year, it will be this one, since I’ve already read the first two, and it basically won ALL of the awards last week at the ALA’s Youth Media Awards); THE NAMELESS CITY by Faith Erin Hicks; TETRIS by Box Brown; REAL FRIENDS by Shannon Hale and LeUyen Pham, and CALIFORNIA DREAMIN’ by Pénélope Bagieu.
Which one should I read first? Which comics and graphic novels are you excited to read this year?
What Do You Think?
